In 2017, the National Association for Student Research (OTDT) decided to establish the \u2018Tam\u00e1s Roska Scientific Lectures\u2019 in order to support the continuity of talent management and scientific research activities at different levels of higher education, to showcase the perspectives of young researchers, to recognise talent and to promote the achievements of young researchers, and to honour the internationally renowned researcher Tam\u00e1s Roska’s life’s work, which bridges the disciplines.<\/p>\n
The \u2018Tam\u00e1s Roska Scientific Lectures\u2019 is open to doctoral candidates\/doctoral students\/post-doctoral researchers who have demonstrated outstanding performance in their chosen field of research, have presented their results in the form of publications, lectures, art or scientific works of high quality, and are able to present their results in a high quality and enjoyable scientific and scientific-popularising lecture to young people interested in their field of expertise and their mentors at the National Student Research Conference (OTDK). The \u2018Tam\u00e1s Roska Scientific Lectures\u2019 was held for the first time in 2019 at the XXXIV OTDK, and thereafter it is held every two years, one lecture per section, in 16 scientific disciplines at the National Student Research Conference.<\/p>\n
