I. innOtdk competition for OTDK participants

Participate in the I. innOtdk!
Innovate, show the power of your research!

The National Association for Student Research (OTDT), together with the Hungarian Association for Innovation (MISZ), the John von Neumann Computer Society (NJSZT) and the Hungarian Innovation Agency (NIÜ) announces the first innOtdk program for the participants of the 37th OTDK!

If you want a little extra challenge beyond competing at the 37th National Student Research Conference (OTDK) and your research results have innovation potential, then this is the place for you! The innOtdk gives you the opportunity to take your research one step further and turn it into real solutions. We are not only looking for ideas that create economic value, but also social and non-profit innovations that can help the community, the environment or education.

The top 30 applicants will receive a mentoring program, where experts will help them develop their ideas. The program culminates in the best projects being showcased in an innovative exhibition and competition, with cash and grant prizes up for grabs!

Awards and Prizes

• Audience Award: 50,000 HUF
• innOtdk Award: 50,000 HUF + 200,000 HUF targeted support
• innOtdk Grand Prize: 100,000 HUF + 400,000 HUF targeted support

Key dates

• Deadline for applications: 30 April 2025.
• Announcement of the results of the first round: 31 May 2025.
• Finals and exhibition: September/November 2025, Budapest
